IV + J RETURN | 11.07 tu

• am: didn’t want to walk, no a.m. #2

• at first was uninterested in food, even though i made hamburger!

  • she did get up to bark though, came around and ate a bit until emily’s arrival..

  • ended up eating ~1/2 can of food

• did 500 mL of IV fluids w/ Emily! bleb of a success

• afternoon/sunset - walk to Lido for sunset w/ Trixie, Kara, Maha & Siraj

  • #2 on the way back at San Luis Obsipo poop garden, the stool was runny and had more blood consistency than Monday morning, but didn’t seem quite as much as the night before.

• p.m. to the bay when J is back, no #2.

Pups are well! Lucy didn’t want to do her walk again this morning, and she didn’t enter the poop contest, but that makes sense b/c she hasn’t really eaten much I guess… fritz is spunky today, although he did throw up some yellowy bile, but that happens every couple of months or so w/ him and it hasn’t lately. But I got frozen burgers yesterday from Ralph’s, so I’m gonna make them a special breakfast !

When I first put the food down, she didn’t eat, but then someone came in after a few minutes, Lucy got up to bark for that and then went to her food and ended up eating some! and then when I put down the fritz’s plate, she did the thing where she’ll eat that, ha… so I scooped some of hers on there and she ate a decent amount, not a full can but not too far off, Emily came down amid that so I think that distracted her.
She did want her treats after the fluids were done! And I felt really good about that
